- I'm not good at these things: maybe I'm just that complex as a person that it's difficult to describe myself in a few words. Or maybe I'm just spectacularly bad at summing up. I'll give it a shot. I love reading: I guess that's a given. When I was little I would read literally anything I could get my hands on, although my tastes are a little more discerning now. I get excited by learning, although assessed work is the bane of my existence, not least because it takes up a lot of what could be leisure reading time. I live in the UK, and I really enjoy reading about local history, especially the haunted places that surround me. One of my many dreams is to some day live in a house in Whitby, where I can walk up the steps to the Abbey every day (maybe) and soak up the atmosphere.
